Befitting its proximity to the historic royal home of Edinburgh Castle, the interior is palatial, filled with antiques and original artwork. Its furnishings are indulgent, with red, gold, purple and black velvets and designer wallpaper set against original stone.

The lavishly draped bed, with its antique panelled headboard, high quality mattress and premium goose down mattress topper, is designed for a decadent sleep. The bedroom is peacefully located to the rear of the property, with a partial view of Edinburgh Castle.

The rest of the apartment is equally indulgent. Three floor to ceiling windows in the candlelit lounge look across the Grassmarket, with comfortable window seats for watching the square below.

The apartment also gives you independence and flexibility. There is a huge choice of restaurants on the doorstep, but you can also cook a romantic meal in the well equipped kitchen, with high quality crockery, glassware and equipment, before settling at the dining table.
