Visiting St Andrew’s

You have a few options:

Renting a car and driving but parking in central Edinburgh is never fun. Getting on an organised tour service. Getting there by local transport We would recommend getting there by yourselves and just walk around for a whole day.

Either a 1h10m train and a 10 minute frequent local bus… Or a direct bus, 1h55m, the hourly x59 from Princess Street.

Have lunch at the British golf museum with great views of the old course, visit the beach, the University campus and the cathedral ruins.

It’s usually very windy so dress for winds!
